    Words of wisdom, my friend.! We are busy bees down here. I sold my house in July, I moved to Kevin’s house in August, we started making repairs and upgrades on Kevin’s house, painted it, replaced the roof, replaced the old windows, and in October we are going through the throes of buying a new house. We are closing on that deal on Nov. 22nd and will begin moving in there sometime in late November. The address there is 8320 NW Reed Dr., Portland 97229. it’s located up in the west hills on the Tualatin Valley side of the hill, near Skyline Blvd., looking down to Beaverton, Hillsboro and the coast range in the background. it has 4 bdrms., 4 bathrooms, a sun room, a room with a hot tub in it, totaling 3400 sq. ft on 2 levels. It was built in 1988. Now we’re just waiting for the paper work to go thru Escrow. Kevin and I are buying it jointly, and Kevin will probably refi it after I’m gone. So that’s all my news for now.         Hey Ken, What I did on my last email was talk about myself. So what are you up to besides sharing your thoughts with your friends? The Benson Reunion Committee met in August to discuss the possibility of another reunion, but after lots of conversation it was decided that no further reunions were necessary. It is widely held in the reunion communities that the 60th is usually the last one, due to the ages of all involved. So with that, I don’t believe you’ll be seeing much more email from the reunion committee. I wish you weren’t so far away so we could meet more frequently. So often I think back to those summer days when we’d sleep overnight in our back yards and somehow slip out and roam the streets. I guess you have the same memories. I also remember the berry fields and all that went on there. Okay pal, that’s all I have for now. Take good care of yourself. Hey, I just remembered to tell you I’m now a member of Planet Fitness and I go once or twice a week and ride a bike, use the leg press, use the hip abduction machines. I haven’t yet begun to lift any heavy metal as I’m trying to strengthen my lower legs at this time. Hang In there! Joe
