I personally don’t read or respond to political posts on Facebook.

First, I don’t think many people are on Facebook for political information.

Second, in this day and age it is difficult to tell the difference between truth and fiction.

Third, the person posting is preaching to the choir. Few, if any, readers will be influenced by it.

Fourth, in my view the posts are irritating to most readers.

Fifth, I try to research policies, issues, and statements from many sources in an effort to determine their validity and relevance to the country, me, and my life. Then I vote when the time comes. That’s the obligation and duty of citizenship.

There are plenty of other online sites to post one’s political views.
