Life Changes…and Breakfast

Hash browns, fried egg, multigrain toast with jam.

Oatmeal with Craisins, brown sugar, butter, and a little milk.

French toast and bacon.

Cheerios with sliced banana and milk.

Cream of wheat with brown sugar, butter, and a little milk.

Raisin bran with milk.

Hardboiled egg, multigrain toast with jam, and bacon.

Waffle with an egg and syrup (fruit or maple).

Pancakes with jam…who could forget that?

On occasion, a small glass of orange juice.

And the piece de resistance…a breakfast smoothie made with yogurt, uncooked oatmeal, banana, blueberries, and orange juice.

Of course coffee with cream goes with all of the above.

I like to mix it up when it comes to breakfast.

Just like I have led most of the rest of my life.

Unfortunately as I age, I find I am not mixing it up so much anymore.

Thank goodness for breakfast.
